Air Fryer Halibut with Lemon and Olive Oil



This Air Fryer Halibut is the easiest way to make a delicious piece of fish. Ready in less than 15 minutes, with only a few ingredients, this meal simplifies the way you'll think about fish. Add a side of fries, veggies or rice for a complete meal.

Ingredients

  • 2halibut filets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 2tablespoonsolive oil
  • 1/2lemonjuiced
  • 1teaspoongarlic powder
  • 1/2teaspoonpaprika
  • salt and black pepperto taste
  • lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 390°F.
  • Pat the halibut fillets dry with a paper towel.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a seasoning mixture.
  • Brush the halibut fillets with the seasoning mixture, making sure to coat them evenly on both sides.
  • Place the seasoned halibut fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. If your air fryer is small, you may need to cook the fillets in batches.
  • Cook the halibut in the preheated air fryer for about 8-10 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time may vary based on the thickness of the fillets, so adjust accordingly.
  • Once the halibut is cooked, remove it from the air fryer and serve immediately. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fillets for added brightness. Garnish with additional herbs or a sprinkle of parmesan cheese if desired. Serve with your favorite side dishes.
