Fried Triggerfish

Recipe Source: Tastefulspace.com

Ingredients:
  • 6 triggerfish fillets
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • And 4 cups of vegetable oil.

Take a dish and crack eggs into it, use pepper and salt to season them and then use a wire whisk to mix them. Ensure the flour is in another separate dish. Cut triggerfish fillets into tiny pieces (2-inch square pieces). Dip each piece in the dish with eggs and then in that with the flour. Repeat the process to get an extra-thick coating. In the deep skillet, heat 4 cups of vegetable oil until the oil temperatures reaches 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Add a few pieces of triggerfish at a time and cook them for 10 minutes. Periodically turn the pieces to ensure they are evenly cooked. Finally, remove the triggerfish pieces using a skimmer and put them on a plate.
